Is this something I should be concerned with? I see it all over the Hayne's manual...I was going to try to install some new rear speakers, but I see that I have to disconnect the battery cable, which might make me input a security code when I reconnect it?

It says this is only if I have an anti theft system on my car. I looked all over my car manual and saw nothing, and the deck itself says nothing about an anti theft system. It says Toyota A16404. Don't know?

What do you guys think?

If the deck doesnt have the "Ant-Theft System" on it and you dont have a red light on the left side of your steering column, then you most likely dont have a factory alarm.

Hmm...red light...red light..no I don't see any red light on the left side of my steering column. And there's definitely no "Anti-Theft System" written anywhere on the car that I can see. That's reassuring.

Although it looks like I'm not even technical enough to get the rear trim off to install the speakers...hmm...
