3rd Generation Quick question about front door speakers.

I have 4 inch speakers in the front, (i swear i do, they look tiny as).

question. if i were to upgrade to 6" speakers in the front, would i have to do any other modifications to the doors? or would they just slot in?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but i just cant find a full explanation about specific gen 3 door speakers where they have been upsized.

it would cost me around $70 for speaker installation and i would rather spend that money on the speakers themselves if possible.

thanks guys.

interesting......all of the ones I've seen have a plastic part that attaches to the door that holds the speaker which are all 6" in size. If the one you have is made to hold a 4" speaker maybe possible to find the one that holds a 6" speaker and swap them?
