wow...I love to upgrade mine too.. how does it sound?
it honestly sounds a LOT better then I thought.
i wasn't expecting much from a wal-mart bought indash.. but the 200 watts from the reciever itself really pumps and made my stock speakers sound much better then the stock stereo.
i had to play with the amp settings for a good half hour or more to get the right thump from the subs out.. but once i got it.. it's insane..
how all i gotta do is figure out how to turn all my music videos on my comp to dvd so i can watch it in the car..
bypassing the e-break was a bit of a b*tch but once i got it it wasn't that bad and realized there was a code
watch out for that, a lot of brands have a code that unlocks the bypass..
otherwise.. good luck

and that amp placement is just asking to get your car broken in to
otherwise, looks like a nice start

well i'm hoping the amp won't be seen once the car 's tinted.. which will get done in a few days
i put it there for now cuz i work nights and the car's right outside the window/door from the office
and i sleep during the day when it's parked in the lot outside the building, so it's not deserted anywhere for now
and i'm hoping with the tint it won't show as much b/c the lights inside of it will be off..
i'll have to see, ti's a temp spot for now, although it looks total kick a$$ there.. lol
new speakers are in the works but it came with jbl's.. so i'm not too worried yet.

tinted windows make it that much more safer for the thief since it harder for people to see into the car at night... but where you place that amp its up to you though.. and when it goes missing dont complaining about it here cause we gonna say, "i told you so"

Plus direct sunlight will warm up the amp. And you want it to remain cool and not overheat.
+1
the cooler the amp run, the more efficient it is and the louder./harder you subs will hit.

yeah i noticed the heat yesterday..
specially b/c of the brushed metal shell..
it'll get moved today once i wake up.. just got home from work and i tried to do it now but blah.. WAY too tired.
thinking of adding a capacitor.
or a second screen for the back viewers..
i'm thinking of either a single screen in the middle that comes down (like in the caravans)
or the headrests..
i like the one that comes down as a single b/c it can be hidden away.. will keep everyone posted
