Man, I'd love to have that thing. Just not in the budget right now.

Wow, a supercharger is a lot more expensive than I ever thought it would be.

Honestly I don't think that's too expensive. I would so snap it up if I had my Camry because I happen to have a spare 2500 sitting around right now...

think about...turboing ur camry would cost u 4k+
this SC does same thing as a turboed V6 at around 6-10 psi

it's a bargain...well..unless 300 whp doesnt do it for you and u want 15 psi turbod v6....lol if u got 10k hanging off ur pocket LOL

a baaargain....making me want to swap a v6.

^ haha, a decent turbo V6 would most likely piss all over a S/Ced one. Specially since the TRD charger isn't that big.

^ yep, I believe the TRD charger is slightly undersized that the V6. A proper turbo V6 would own it, though S/C whine is teh sex!!

the SC is designed as an after thought to make the underpowered solara and camry faster and more fun to drive. its not made for high HP numbers, just a descent, but more importantly, reliable boost in power.

and yes the whine is sex

basically, that's exactly what it is, if you ask me....but by the same token, anything much bigger will probably blow the engine since the stock fuel system on the gen4 can barely keep up as it is sometimes lol

and yes as well...any decent turbo setup on a 1mz will kick the s/c fairly well...but by that point...you'd have to build the block for reliability. On a stock block, I would personally say that the supercharger is a much better choice- quick easy power, reliable, easy to use and install, and cheap- comparatively (if you're staying along the reliable line of thinking). Also, one of its best features for reliability and newb tuners....no boost spikes to deal with

and plenty of interest so far...but nothing firm yet. And I don't blame ppl....over 2 grand isn't something that people can just throw around.
