3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
the SC is designed as an after thought to make the underpowered solara and camry faster and more fun to drive. its not made for high HP numbers, just a descent, but more importantly, reliable boost in power.

and yes the whine is sex
basically, that's exactly what it is, if you ask me....but by the same token, anything much bigger will probably blow the engine since the stock fuel system on the gen4 can barely keep up as it is sometimes lol
and yes as well...any decent turbo setup on a 1mz will kick the s/c fairly well...but by that point...you'd have to build the block for reliability. On a stock block, I would personally say that the supercharger is a much better choice- quick easy power, reliable, easy to use and install, and cheap- comparatively (if you're staying along the reliable line of thinking). Also, one of its best features for reliability and newb tuners....no boost spikes to deal with
and plenty of interest so far...but nothing firm yet. And I don't blame ppl....over 2 grand isn't something that people can just throw around.
