Some turbo questions?

1. Is there an extensive guide how to weld up a turbo system like what kind of components are needed and their functions?

2. Is a simple/small turbo setup be ideal for everyday driving? Mileage? Wear?

3. Is custom turbo setup even legal in the US or it just needs to pass emissions?

4. If someone wanna tell me something about turbo I'd love to hear it.

Thanks

1 injector per cylinder. Buy a repair manual at your local auto parts store. It should give you all the info on removal and installation of fuel injectors. Just having a repair manual for your car will save you alot of time.

My advice to you is before you start tackling putting a turbo on your Camry to go and look at other factory turbo cars. That will give you a ood idea of what is necessary to add a turbocharger to a car that did not come with one.

Also, I think before you try to turbo a car, understand how everything works, like spark plugs, injectors, AF ratio, where the turbo goes and where the pipes connect.

Oh and figure out what's the difference between a turbo and a N/A engine. There are a few major parts which are different.

PS: oh and also read up on ur turbo choices, there are quite a few which you can put on the engine.

1. if ya dont know what injectors are then id prolly scrap the idea of a turbo untill you have done ALOT of homework about jsut engines and transmissions first.

2. 100% custom. and i dont see the point of turboing the V6 for daily use, you can rig the TRD SC on there and it will do the same thing more reliably, easier and likely cheaper. if i were gonna go and fab from near scratch a turbo kit id want alot more then a couple hundred horse power. which would involve building up the motor.

3. there are hundreds of posts about all the questions you have, jsut search for them and i know ull find somthing.

Yep. Tons for me to read.

Some questions now?

1. What is n/a motor?

2. What actually involve in tuning a turbo?

Those type of questions you can easily find in searching in google!!!

People don't like the idea of spoonfeeding people with easy to get answers.

Short answer n/a stands for naturally aspirated motor meaning it doesn't have a turbo or supercharger it just all motor. That's another term for you to know... all motor!!!

you need to do more research. You don't know the difference between N/A and F/I, and you don't know what the Injectors do you need to learn a LOT to be able to put together a turbo setup and not blow a motor.
