95' Camry with Hiccups

My car does a hiccup every now and then when under load ie. up a hill or stepped on hard. I have researched online shop manuals and can start diagnosing through the different components like ECM, coils, wires ,etc. , but thought I would send out a thread to anyone who has had this problem. I just replaced the spark plugs with high qual. plugs about 5K ago and the engine is the 1MZ-FE which is a V6 with electronic ignition and injection. The car just doesn't have the same rocket propulsion that I'm used to so I'm starting to think something is off with the timing. Any help - sure appreciated!

Once the timing is set it hardly ever changes. I'm not certain just what you mean by "hiccup" however, since it appears to be an occasional thing you might get lucky by doing the three part Sea Foam cleaning routine.

You may have noticed that I often focus on the emission control systems. If the cleaning routine doesn't work, I'd start going through the systems.

Luck,
Kep

check the woodruff key in the crankshaft, they go bad when cheap mechanics replace the timing belt and dont tighten down the crack shaft bolt properly, in witchy case you need a new crankshaft

you could also try checking the timing with a timing light, harbor freight $13 for a timing light, Im drunk.
