Not good at reading wiring diagrams...

...so can someone tell me if the car will have no dashlights if the dimmer switch on the dash is disconnected?

I have no dash lights and no turn signals right now....but I have a lot of my dash removed right now preparing to remove the a/c unit.

I go to work at 4am and it's pitch black...so knowing how fast I am going would be nice.

The dimmer switch is disconnected at the moment and the dash lights dont work.

Cant check the flashers either...that switch is disconnected too.


Im wondering if I just take those switches out of the part of the dash I removed and hook them up and leave them hanging if the flashers and dash lights will work?

The dimmer switch is tied to the ground for the dash lights. Without the switch in place the lights are not grounded and thus will not work.

Yes, remove the dimmer and other items and hook them up.

Ok...got the hazard switch out and hooked it up...I have turn signals now.

But I cant get the dimmer out. The hazard light was just 2 screws...the dimmer doesnt have screws..and I cant tell how to get it out without breaking it.

Is there some wires I can jump in the connector or ground one of the wires or something?
