I got $300 and I want to get a sway bar and a muffler for my camry. Since the TRD RSB is already $150, I can't have a muffler more than the difference $150, though I really like the Stainless Oval 2 tips OEM style Magnaflow muffler. So any other muffler in the price range capable of producing a deep and loud enough for my V6? Thanks I looked at some of the "cans" and they seem to be too rasp.
Well hopefully you can install the sway bar yourself since the mechanic will probably just take the rest of the money that's left.
Also I learned it's best to wait a bit and hold on to that money and wait till you have what you need so you can get what you want. Get the TRD RSB and then save the rest till you can gather the more for the muffler you want!!!
The Camry is a car that I can rip out someone's pride, stab it, beat it, and completely bash their egos, and it's so ridiculous that the person comes back with a hysterical laugh... ROFL They got trainlengthed by a Camry that in their mind, was a 18 sec car.
dont screw your self. jsut buy teh rsb or muffler and wait and save for the other. even if ya got a 50$ muffler ud have to have it installed which would be about 75 bucks.
Don't forget the $150 is just the shipped cost of the RSB itself. If you get Gen4 bushing brackets and new endlinks when you do the RSB, as is often recommended, that will take another $150 right there.
I'm leaning toward the TRD RSB since I really enjoy a swift ride, especially on this old camry of mine. But muffler sound, hmmm.
If I had to choose between the two, I'd go for the RSB. A good sounding muffler would be nice, but the RSB has more fun factor. Of course, I likes my high G turns. Some people might prefer sound over handling.
actually youd notice the awesomeness at a reduced magnitude. the sway bar makes the most differance with a spring/strut combo in place but definatly helps reguardless.
