Installing a new regulator

I have a gen 3 LE 4 door...
My front passenger side power window regulator has been out for awhile now, and I've finally decided to fix it. I ordered a new regulator off of ebay, which should arrive next week. A while back, I took off the door panel to wedge a piece of wood to hold the window up, but I didn't get a good look at how everything was set up.

Anyway, I was looking at the repair manual last night and saw that it was necessary to remove the glass in order to remove the regulator itself. Is it possible for me to replace the regulator without taking out the glass?

I replace the regulator on my 94 coupes drivers door last weekend. I didn't remove the window to install it.

Once i removed the bolts that connects the window to the regulator,(used the access holes) I lifted the window to the fully closed position, and held it in place, with a long piece of duct tape, looped from the inside of the window over the top of the door to the outside of the window. Then I removed the broken regulator and then installed the new regulator and motor to the door

I removed the duct tape as I held the window and lowered it down and re-installed the bolts on the new regulator.

This is on a coupe tho, (larger window), I have 4 nuts and 3 bolts, connecting the reg to the door. I'm not sure, if sedans have as many.

Hope this helps some. Be sure to lube the reg well. I used white Lithium grease, in a spray can.

As Eyeball96 noted, it is not necessary to remove the glass. I used the duct tape method he noted when I did the LF regulator/motor of our '93 wagon.

oh btw, eyeball96, I have some white MP grease. Will this work, or does it have to be lithium?
