I was lazy to find a pad, So I used an iron wire and bent it like a flower shape.
After installation:

You don't have to have the S2000 antenna strait up and down. I was able to install mine with a slant backwards. All that has to be done is bend the mounting bracket for the Celica sub-antenna. If you want I can post a pic after I get home from work.

This is true. Mine was slanted slightly backward when I first installed it even though this wasn't my intention. Now, however, it is straight

I did a search for antenna suggestions and found most of the better threads to be in 2008 and I was wondering if anyone has some other suggestions on antennas that are out there today.
I have a 93 Camry that needs the power antenna replaced. Since I will be installing a CD player (still has original radio and cassette player), I really won't be listening to the radio much, so I don't need to pull in signals from Russia.
I saw antennas for under $20 at Autozone, would those do the trick or is it a waste of money.
I see the S2000 is or was one of the more popular ones, what would the total cost be on one of those? Money is an issue since I don't want to invest in something I will seldom use.

Well I over paid to do my S2k antenna cause I bought my parts from the stealerships. I ended up paying something like $115 for everything, but I got all the parts the next day.
You should be able to get all the parts significantly cheaper if you look online. Check the DIY for the part numbers. You will need a Celica sub-antenna and nut, and of course a Honda S2K antenna.
One advantage to the S2K antenna over other aftermarket antennas is that everything is done with OEM parts made by Toyota and Honda, so you know everything is of the utmost quality.
