1995 wheel question

I am looking to do a subtle upgrade to the wheels on my 95 le. I was thinking that maybe a newer camry's steel wheels would fit on the car. I want to keep the same diameter if I were to do this. My question is, will these wheels fit based on the offset and width. I was looking at 2005 steel rims but I am not set on those.

why would steel rims from a 2005 be any better? if anything, it will be a downgrade because they will be heavier

They are lager in diameter with lower profile tires, less tire sway. They are wider so they provide better grip. I doubt they weigh that much more, but I will keep that in the forefront of my mind.

not many of us would ever consider steel wheels an upgrade. but if your hell-bent on thinkin it is then go for these or somthing like this.

its the 17" steelies from a chrysler 300, dodge charger.

and by diameter do you mean overall diameter of the wheels and tire combo or just the wheel size?

overall diameter = diameter of rim plus tire, ie I don't want to change speed sensors.

If I were to get 17 rims, i would have to do with a very small sidewall and that doesn't work. I figured the 15-16 steel wheels off of the later camrys would work best. I figured I could find someone getting rid of them due to upgraded rims.

part of the reason for trying to find camry rims is because camrys are a high volume car, as in there are a lot of them on the road. Potentially making them cheap to get a hold of.

Finding spare supra rims is like trying to find a spare ferrari engine. I might as well buy some volks at that point.

what is very small for ya and why doesnt that work?? you wont notice much differnce between the stock 15" tire size and the 16" tire size as far as road holding abilities and they arent any wider then the 15s...6.5" wide.

i would just stick with what u got.
