An Extra One Second?

I have a stock 96 gen 3 grande. i have been slowly modifying it but only externally.

its a very clean car and the alloys and lether interior complement it.

Anyway, externally i have added a stock spoiler, tinted the widows and lowered it 2' all around and also replaced orange indicator lights with clear.

I believe the exterior of the car is now done. as i dont want to over do a camry, just want to make it look sporty.

Anyway now its time to move on to modding performance wise.

What can i do to my stock vienta to gain about 1-2seconds from 0-60?

Supercharge it?

There are no cheap modifications that are going to make you that much faster.

To me it sounds almost like you were doing exterior modifications to make it... faster?? Or "look sporty". Throw a couple grand down then you'll get your extra second.

if you don't have a 5-speed, then swap it

(why does it seem like I keep on recommending this? lol)

you dropped your car 2 feet all around?

2' = 2 Feet, 2" = 2 inches.

5spd swap, turbo.

you mean V6 manual compared to V6 auto?

if so its not like it would matter. if the manual is heavier(which i think it is) it more then makes up for that in the extra gear and FUN factor...yay.

too bad you arent in the states, you could pick up 360glitch's turbo setup. i dont know how much a 5spd swap costs but the turbo is cheap and awesome

*ahem* the manual weighs probably close to 100lbs LESS than the auto...so you basically win in every way

as for the turbo setup...it's a really good deal and an efficient setup...but then you run into the unreliability problem...
