1st post, injector question

hey all, this is my first post here, but not on a forum. the car in question is a 1992 camry xle v6 with the 3vzfe .

i had some issues with my fpr and now my injectors are spraying fuel out of the 2p connectors. so i looked for 3 days on ebay for injectors and found some off a 96 camry 1mzfe.

ive searched for hours on this site trying to find my answer, but had no luck, i know they can work on my motor, but are these plug and play? or do i have to modify anything to make them work?

thanks for taking the time to read my post

There are a couple of injector designs plus injectors come in different sizes (flow rates). The computer just turns them on and off.

If the replacement is the same as the old one then just plug it in. Make sure they are the same part.

well, im not sure if they are the same part. (i dont know the part number on mine, its sitting at my parents house) i do know they look exactly the same. the only differences i know of are.

stock 3vz 218cc
stock 1mz 244cc

as long as the computer will cut them on and off, and the car will run without puking gas im fine.

the injectors should be practically the same-top feed, and fitment should be fine since the two engines are fairly similar in design....

if you're just doing one injector and you can get it for cheap, it's well worth the try

Got all 6 injectors for 27 bucks. all my injectors are spitting fuel

i guess ill give it a shot and then post my results here.

even if they run a bit rich, thats better than me catching on fire, or worse, my wife and child
