Try the DIY repair section at AutoZone for diagrams. The site should have info on draining the engine and radiator.

Typically you remove the upper hose at radiator and T-stat. Then run water from a hose from top out the bottom where T-stat goes. Turn heater control to full hot.

Do the same for the radiator.

Worse case do a Google search on this topic.

my idea was to take the hose coming from the radiator close everything else and run water through it from my garden hose. should the car be running? also it LOOKS like theres 2 plugs on the radiator but idk if its really plugs are the plugs on the front (towards headlights) or under the fan shroud on the backside of the radiator? PLEASE HELP haha

and heres the kit i have but i dont know what line to splice into for the kit

The radiator drain plug is on the lower left-hand side. I just did this on mine. I put the "T" fitting on a heater hose, but plugged the engine side at first, so it would flush the heater core. Then I connected the other end of the heater hose, put the large 'nozzle' on the radiator spout and just let the water run. Seemed to work pretty well. Forgot to mention that I ran radiator flush and plain water through it for about a week before I did the flush.
