Mod Nuts!!! Need Crazy Ideas!!!

Hey boys,

So in the process of trying to strip off the spray tint job I did on my tail lights, the stripper reacted with the plastic and it all went to shit. I was curious if anyone had any ideas for a bad ass tail light assembly...I'm an engineer so if its something you think can be done, and would be sick, let me know, ill give it a try.

if not, anyone know of someone or is selling a complete set of 97-99 tail lights

lol...seriously, im looking for some sick ideas...

money is an issue, but not much of one.

Cosmetically, I kind of like the red and clear tail lights, like the ones on the ES300 in '00-'01 I believe. And LEDs would be pretty neat too!

It can be solved by simply putting a IS300 engine inside.

Well, one_to_hate gave me the idea of the LEDs, those look sick btw...I kind of want to do a light smoke with LEDs...The car is a black on white theme all the way around so I need either smoke or clear...LEDs in a smoked lense? I was also thinking of doing something similar to like a Skyline GTR...the circles?

I saw artezza taillight for gen 4, it looks a bit off on such a tiny-ass trunk though, lol.

Just my 2 cent.

i think they used to make clear tail lights for gen 4... definitely not street legal...
i'd go with these... http://procarparts.stores.yahoo.net/toca97retali.html
if you wanna get nuts, take the lens off and use a window tint film to cover the clear part... i'd just leave it like it comes though.
