01 V6 Coolant Fan Operation?

Searched the threads, couldn't find an answer to ...

Do the fans on the radiator always operate together?

Drivers side fan cycles on and off, but the passenger side fan doesn't seem to run at all. Connectors all look good.

Do the fans use separate relays? Or what might be the cause?

I have the 1mz... 97 to be exact and auto... I will double check tomorrow, but I believe only one fan runs when its just starting up and decently cool...after a run and the car is hot, both are running full blast for me... ill double check tomorrow though... you might be able to find that answer somewhere online...

one should be the a/c fan and the other, the rad fan (or at least that's what they are listed as)

turn on your a/c and the other fan should turn on
