3rd Generation unplugged

So I'm running hot unless moving. I removed the hydraulic fan filter but it wasn't clogged and then I saw this plug hanging down under the compressor. It has a long sleeved wire that's harnessed w/the wire that goes to the sensor to the left of the oil filter. I crawled under but couldn't find anywhere to plug it. Does anyone recognize this?

I tried to direct link pics but just kept getting these funny boxes: What did I do wrong?

That should be your oil pressure sending sensor. I have seen at the wreckers some that have two different connectors for some reason. One hooked the the sensor, and one not used tied up to the same wiring harness. I just figured it's dependent on what sensor is used.

Glad to help. Found it out while trying to figure out where my oil leak was coming from.

As far as image hosting goes, I use http://imageshack.us/

The images come up as thumbnails which is good for those people with slower systems, they can always click on them to see more detail if they need it.

3rd Generation pics

Heat -Thanks for reconfirming my noobiness I'll give that a try next time. MVFTW- I've got a3VZ
so no elec fan .It could be like Cykarro suggested an extra plug so Toyota could use the same harness
on different models(?) However I was getting ready to post about my running hot problem. Is it possible for the hydraulic fan to run w/a component unplugged? The fan does run and isn't making the whirring noise everybody describes. I did the jump from OP1-T1 and the engine revved up but if the fan sped up at all it was only barely faster than @ idle. As long as I'm moving 40 mph (ac off) I'm ok. (ps pump solenoid bad?)
