Somewhat Rough Idle

Afternoon All,

I have a 95 V6 and since I've gotten it (from friends of the family) it's been a little rough on idle. Nothing terrible, but it bugs me a little.

Spoke to the previous owners - the plugs and wires were done about 40,000 km ago along with the fuel filter. I recently replaced the air filter as well.

IF anyone can throw me suggestions of what to check, great.

40K km isn't a lot but could be the problem if some off brand plugs and wires were used. Were NGK or Denso used? If not, you may be due. If the '95 still used a distributor, you might want to carefully inspect the cap and rotor.

No, it doesn't have a distributor.
I might look at changing the wires again, not sure what brand they used - everything else they replaced is OEM or mid-range replacement. I really don't want to start looking at the injectors.... I hate working with EFI systems.

If the plugs aren't NGK or Denso, I'd consider changing them also. These cars don't seem to like anything else.
