Hi, I have a 95 Camry with a 5s-fe and he begin to be old. So one of my option is to swap a newer engine in it. So a 3mz-fe with tranny and ecu could fit in my car? or even a 2gr-fe? it is hard to do?
more work then the 1mz swap for little gain. plus there are more aftermarket parts avalible for the 1mz. plus i may be wrong but i believe teh 3mz is drive by wire and thats jsut poo on that motor. though i think milt was able to work around it. but hes the only person i know of who has done it so hes gonne be the person to ask.
well i went to werk this morning, i werk for penn toyota in nyc.m i asked my parts manager and he me told that he is not a 100% sure that is it the same exact tranny as gm but he does know that all trannies werk built in kentucky and they were built by the same people who builds gm's trannies.
