Egine swap question

Hi, I have a 95 Camry with a 5s-fe and he begin to be old. So one of my option is to swap a newer engine in it. So a 3mz-fe with tranny and ecu could fit in my car? or even a 2gr-fe? it is hard to do?

Oh yeah it's doable (V6). Try a search, and there'll be a lot of info to read about. 2gr-fe, I am not familiar with though.

Why you wouldn't want a 3mz?

more work then the 1mz swap for little gain. plus there are more aftermarket parts avalible for the 1mz. plus i may be wrong but i believe teh 3mz is drive by wire and thats jsut poo on that motor. though i think milt was able to work around it. but hes the only person i know of who has done it so hes gonne be the person to ask.

^true... nice regurgitation lol...

go with 1mz.. get it from the same year or 94 or 96 if you cant find 95... the wiring will be easier if its the same year.

I will help you with the wiring when you get to that point.. i have my old wiring scribble sheet from my 94 swap...

i thought ud like that

the 1mz is also better cuz you can supercharge it..which milt did with the 3mz as well but again had to work around the vvti and dbw.

I hope you aren't talking about Toyota's U660E Sequential 6 speed automatic transmission...

Please provide proof that it is a gm product...
