If your ride has traction control there is a sensor at each drive wheel to determine wheel speed. I would check the connections at each sensor as well as the wiring for pinch points or wear through marks around the axles from rubbing if the person that replaced your harness left it dangling onto an axle. Check the female end of the connectors to make sure that the terminals have not spread or corroded and are thus not making a good connection. If this looks okay you can unplug the connector at the sensors and put an AC voltmeter across the terminals on the sensor itself (NOT THE HARNESS) while a buddy spins the wheel. These sensors will produce an AC voltage signal when the wheel spins if they are good. Or if you have access to a scan tool you can go into the data display and take the car for a spin checking that the PID's on the scanner are reflecting vehicle speed. If you find a bad sensor, replace it. This is the most likely cause of your TRAC light issue. Traction control cannot function if it cannot sense wheel slippage.
