window visor question

I'm planning to buy 4 visors (vip style) and I've seen some members with visor on their window so i think i should check with u guys first.

I know the visor function is to cover the rain, what about wind deflector ? Does that reduce wind noise while on high speed ? Would that be helpful on freeway with windows down ?

I've opened my windows while it was pouring rain. No rain came in.

On the freeway, the wind noise goes down if you have the windows cracked to the same length as the visor. After that, its about the same.
