97 startup - cranking fast

Hi everyone,

Just wondering if this is normal for a gen 4 or my starter maybe on the way out.

The car is the 6 cylinder, when I go to start it, the cranking of either the motor or the starter sound is really quick. Having driven lots of car, Ive never hear the starter cranking so quickly so would I be right to say its on the way out?

Are you having any other problems, or are you just finding it odd that the car starts so quickly? If it's the latter, you don't have anything to worry about. My gen 3.5 (same V6 as your gen 4) starts nearly twice as fast as my gen 5.5.
