coolant overheating-how to change?

I've just bought a 94 camry 5s-fe and after a long drive today the coolant in the overflow tank was boiling and bubbling. also the temperature went up when the car was not moving. what would be the cause of this and how do i flush and replace the coolant?

Verify that the fan is coming on. It's possible that you have a bad coolant temp sensor or a bad fan. It could also be a bad thermostat, a clogged radiator, or a collapsed rad hose. However, based upon your description, the most likely cause would seem to be the sensor or the fan. Does the fan come on when you turn on the AC?
