Dashboard Removal

The fuckin' clock in my 97 camry fell down behind the dash. How do I remove the dashboard since I needed to get back there anyways? Anyone know?

Also, anyone know where I can find an owners manual/service guide online?

there are a lot of bolts and wiring clips/plugs to remove to pull the entire dash... Im thinking you just need to pull the trim bezel where the clock is on the gen 3, which would be the two screws near the gauge cluster and I believe two screws under the cig lighter bezel, then it should pop right out...

I've pulled the gauge cluster out on it, but I can't fit my hand through the dashboard because there's something solid right behind it, and the clock's hole is way too small.

Could you try using a wire with a hook bent on the end to hook a wire and fish it out?

oh, I was thinking of the gen 3, my bad. I would try something to fish it out as well.

Great idea, guys! I got it back up and in the hole. But there's a new problem. Now, it only lights up and gives you the time if you push lightly on it. Any ideas? I was thinking it might be a loose wire. But I have no clue how to get to the wires.
