Talking Weapon R- Secret weapon intake installed and is AWSOME!!

1st off all i got to say is the weapon-R secret weapon ram intake for the 1994 V6 camry is AMAZING!!!!

I began intalling the intake yesterday and didnt start the car untill i was completly finished. I wanted to be suprised when everything (the intake, filter, and ram hose) were completly intalled. I finished installing after hours of trying to fit the ram hose in the engine bay and finally finshed. I started the car and could instantly hear the secret weapon at work. it sounded really cool

But the part that actually blew me away was the sound it made when i reved the engine, it sounded so much better than before. I know to some of u all this little extra rumble isnt anything to be too excited about but to me it was amazing.

well anyway sorry for rambling, ill let the pictures finish the talking. If anyone is considering getting a weapon-r i say go for it! it is defintly worth it!

completed installation...

closer view...

the ram tube...(that took forever to fit! lol)...

the ram opening (its located on the bottom right opening in the stock bumper, if ur looking straight at the car)...

now for the sound...
this first video isnt very good, i had the ac on too so u hear that as well as the intake and i dont rev it in this one...

The better one... with reving
(sorry guys this last one wouldnt upload on photobucket so i had to put it on youtube...)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mi2egykhiwA

so thats it what do u all think? if anyone read my earlier post about where the recirculator valve is, and where the hose goes fo that, u will see i just put a little blue filter over that opening, i think its ok like that.

overall im really excited and can really feel the increase in acceleration and power, its more than i expected thats for sure!

Very very nice. I love that sound than my cheap ass spectre, but now I can't even hear my intake over my magnaflow.

One thing, the cai pipe routing is kinda awkward. Remove the splash guards under the driver wheel fender and route that pipe into the fender through the old airbox pipe straight down to drive side bumper vent.

If that little yellow speaker cone thing is actually hooked up to anything in the top right of the pics, you should definitly angle it sideways and in a better location so water does not collect in it and ruin it. Judging from the rust on your strut towers and brake booster, water definitly gets around in that engine bay. I had the same problem with my alarm.

thanks for the input, yeah im still tryin to figure out a better place, but im hopefully gonna relocate the batt to the trunk so i may free up some space

...as for the other post, yeah autozone put it in so i didnt really bother messin with it, i thought the same thing to about rain so yeah ill probably fix that! but no the rust is actually from being in flordia for such a long time. i got it from flordia and brought it back to kentucky so i guess all the salt in the air did a number on it, something i also want to fix up....

Love that intake worth the money- recommend it to anyone with a camry too bad the same thing cannot be said to exhaust mods.

You never hear someone say the intake noise is nasty sounding compared to exhaust mods lol. I love it the intake more than my apexi n1 exhaust.

Ahh right on man been looking at these for awhile.

You're the guy with the hyper white reverse lights, i could never remember where'd i'd seen that on here. For some reason I think it's an excellent idea.
