As i described in a previous threat about the clunck clunck sound in the rear of my 95 camry. I went to the mechanic and my sway bar bushings were good, the strut mounts according to them were good. But the sound is still there. And no is not tools rolling around i took all my tools out of my car. Is there a way i can test to see is my struts are in good working condition?? This sound is like a big headache i dont know how to get rid of, i need help ASAP, anything you can think of please let me know! Thanx:conf used:
make sure your rims are tighten. i had the same problem also wasted money on nothing really serious and that was the problem. Make sure they are tighten ( the nuts ) and check teh studs, the threads maybe be going losening the nuts

Is just when i hit a hole. Is like clunk clunk and im lik wut the hell!!LOL That sound is the worst. Any idea of what it might be?
Thats clunk sound might be sign of your end-links giving up on you. What you described sounds like what I experienced when I had one of the end-links nut loose while attempting to change the rsb (stripped the hex nut on the end-links so nut was stuck). I had to endure that for 2 whole weeks until the parts came. I hope that's your problem...if it is, it's an easy fix.

Yeah, push down on the back of the car on either side.
If your suspension is good, it should spring back up to normal
I did the pushing down test. IT only came back up once. Then i got my bro and we pushed down many times and it came up it was not bouncy. So this means the struts are good rite.

How did that mechanic check your sway bar bushings? Unless he dis assembled each bushing from the sawy bar mounts and loofed at each bushing's inside diameter, his inspection means little.
I have moved, shook and pried on those bushings in their assembled state with the sawy bar and no movement was seen. However when I disassembled the same bushings and inspected the inside diameter of each, one of them was clearly worn out of round and it's inside diameter was oblong. I then replaced the set aand no more "clunking".
Please note that if your rear shocks/struts are worn ie they do not stop the car from bouncing, these worn rear struts can also cause those sway bar bushings to wear out prematurely.
To sum up, in my opinion it sounds like your rear struts are shot and it is probably a good bet that your sway bar bushings are worn.
I am curious, how did yyour mechanic tell that your shock mounts are OK without removing the rear strut assembly from the car? I personally have not been able to diagnose a worm Camry strut mount unless I removed the strut from the car and inspected it on the bench.
