People with TRD RSB....

what setting do you keep it on. I had it on street setting it was okay but then changed it to track setting and holy cow this thing rocks. I think im going to keep it on the track setting but i have one question is it going to be tuff on the endlinks because its much stiffer or should i be okay

just from the street to to the track setting is a pretty big difference

everytime i take a turn im just like

Dude, make sure you don't push it to hard on the freeway...body roll initial was there to reduce the chance of the whole car getting rolled...

I don't have a RSB so hit me.

NO ONE puts the thing on street. Put it on track setting and leave it there. Despit what people think, it will not make the car worse in any way, at all.

Hey, where are you guys buying the trd rsb? I want one for my own car...just to see if that really does improve the handling enough for me to justify keeping the stock suspension.

Thanks

Same experience on this end. It just really fun driving to work now...since I look forward to those wicked 270 looping on and off ramps turns!

I got mine at toyotapartsales.com.
TRD rsb part #: PTR06-06990-10.
Brackets part #: 48832AA010. You'll need two of these of course.

Oh, this link will be handy too...
DIY: Replace your endlinks and rear sway bar

I was considering updating the suspension as well; but after this update, I feel it's not necessary. But give it some time before I'll change my mind.

Bump oversteer on an overly aggressive is quite scary, which's why it's labeled track, cuz tracks are usually smoother and more predictable. W/O rsb, the rear breaks traction early, but progressively. RSB on track setting breaks traction more abruptly, so if you're not ready for it, you can swing the whole rear around (spinout or 4wheel drift if you're flooring and counter-steering).

But then again, you shouldn't be driving more than 7/10 on the street, so you shouldn't encounter bump oversteer...

your talking about "snap" oversteer. even with the stock RSB...depending on what tire size your using there is snap oversteer anyways on these cars. but your right in that the RSB does enhance it but teh over steer caused by body roll is greatly reduced. the "track" setting is simply an easier way of saying its the tighter of the 2 options. it isnt really only intended for track use.

i generally recommend that after any major suspension upgrade the driver take the car somewhere safe and test it to learn where the cars limits are...that way its not a surprise.
