yea no wonder they will blow...if he released the springs free of all pre-tension and let the dampers sit lower to drop the car, then the dampers are at 80-90% compressed at all times....that's no good....
^ of course they are linear ... i dont know why you ever thought otherwise, and thats why i told you that you should not spread that sort of lie around the forums
i run mine at 0 preload (not loose, just right at the edge of 0) and make height adjustments with the lower mounting points ... the k-sport manual says to do this unless its not possible, so i hope George didnt use the lower spring seat to adjust ride height
