Hi, i have a quick question here!? Before gets bigger problem i just want to tell you guys what the issue was, and what happened!? so anyone that has any idea what it could be!?
Ok i was driving around 60mph, and i had to slow down and make a right turn!? Now, keep on mind that, while driving, my AC was OFF!
after i made the right turn, hit litle bump on the road, and after that, i had to stop to wait for the red light! So got litle hot in the car, and i turned the AC ON! the light turned Green so i took the left turn! As soon as i started driving, some white smoke came out of the AC WENTS. So i shut the air OFF right away, and then after 10 sec. turned it back ON. it's still cooling like it used before, but anyone has any IDEA, what it could've been?
Please if anyone can respond on this, i aprecciatte.
So far after that White SMOKE i drove another 7 miles, but nothing happened, no smoke or anything came out of the ac wents, nor the Ac stoped working! Still working allright ... but anything that i have to expect due to this WHITE SMOKE coming out of the AC wents?
My car does the exact same thing. I'll turn A/C off, turn it back on and accelerate and it will start blowing out a smoke like thing (don't think its smoke though). However, I asked my grandfather who had the car before me and he said it used to happen to him and it's nothing to worry about. I've never had problems with my A/C so I never gave it a second thought. If it starts blowing stuff, I turn it up high and let it all blow out and turn it back down again.

hope nothing happens ....
anyone else? any idea what it could be?
i just dont want to go to the mechanic for nothing, bcz they will allways find something to rip you off ...
Oh, that's happened before, it's just either because your car is really warm, and you turn on the AC and it's visable, it happens if you're house if over 100 degrees and you open the fridge, but if it smells or if you feel heavy loss of power, see a mechanic.

That used to happen with my aunt's old Buick. Seemed like the air coming out was just really cold so like someone said, kinda like a refrigerator where you can actually see it. It was odorless and didn't last very long so I didn't think anything of it.

If it is real humid this can happen. When the freon gets low it will happen more often. Check under your car to make sure it's still draining.
If it smells or if the vents start getting oily you may be leaking freon. That woulld need to be taken care of. However, odds are that it is water vapor. If it doesn't happen often you probably don't need to worry about it.

well, i owned my Camry for 2.5 years now, and this is the first time ever happened ... like i said earlier, no odor or smell ... just smoked for few seconds, and that was about it ...
We'll i apreciatte your help ppl
i will write back if anything goes on again ...
thanks a lot
It is normal to see that when the air is really humid.
The cool air causes the air in thru evaporator (core) and coming out of vent to drop to or below dew point, so it is basically fog, or cloud formation at ground level.
