Its how hard your clutch will catch on when you release. If you run a turbo or S/C then you might want to consider a stage 2-3 clutch so you don't major slippage from gear to gear. You want the clutch to grab on as tight as possible!!!

I would say if you running stock, I would go AT MOST a racing clutch. If you are running high end you don't want any slipping so a 2,3,4 clutch would be good at grabbing each gear. If you run stock (like my maybe 100 hp GEN3) it would be very hard for someone to slip from gear to gear if they knew how to drive manual

for real though, not sure if you have a 4banger or a v6, but the stock v6 clutch can take some decent abuse as long as you don't abuse it. otherwise, with boost, a stage 2 clutch is recommended
I have a stage 3 clutch and it's great, performance-wise...I can make it slam into gear whenever I want and I don't worry about frying my clutch....but the downside is that the pressure plate is a lot more powerful, so the clutch is really heavy and also has a low engagement point, which makes it a bitch to drive in traffic

I've got the I-4 engine. I replaced the clutch when I bought the car about 8 months ago. But I just got a direct replacement from a shop around here. It's name was "Brute Power" and it's extremely shitty. If I drive to the store and back, I can smell it burning. And I'm not abusing it. I should have just paid an extra 300 bucks and gotten a performance clutch.
It was funny, when I was about to remove the clutch. I couldn't even drive my car into the shop. I pushed that engine so hard to get into gear, a freeze plug blew out. When I got the transmission off the block, chunks and shredded pieces of clutch were just falling out. The smell was unbearable. I wish I took pictures.

I have to recommend getting an EXEDY clutch. I just got the base/standard model clutch plate, bearing, and pressure plate. I had it replaced a month ago and I love it. It has good bite and no matter how hard I push I have not slipped yet.
Ask your local garage about EXEDY. It ran me about $200 i think on parts!
