if i had my choice id do a 4.5... or else plan to do the front end swap, there are no after market lights for the gen 4. and even if you dont plan to change them to me the 4.5 have a nicer looking head light and tail light setup...
i think it's a pointless upgrade if u gonna upgrade to gen 4, cuz gen 4.5 is so much better looking than gen 4....even gen 3 is better looking than gen 4.

I completely agree. IMO gen 4.5 is the last camry i would buy, the newer ones are ugly as well.

dont be talkin bad bout the 4's only difference visually is the nose and tail lights between them and the 4.5... and i believe if ya do a crbaon trunk you have to gen 4 tails anyways...

the rear tail lights are a world of difference.

not much of an upgrade ... camry's are great and all, but even the Gen 4s are getting old now - if you are thinking about selling your car, get something made in the last 5 years
