Hey guys, have a pretty simple question for you. I've got a 94 LE, and I want to remove the black plastic piece around the radio and cigarette lighter, I think this is called the center console panel or center trim panel. If not, my mistake. Anyways, I looked in the Hayne's manual, and the only time it even mentioned it was to say "remove center ktfdkjhg panel". Wow, very helpful. How do I remove it? I remove it.

Anyways, any tips here? I tried to pry it off lightly, but I don't want to crack it.

There are 2 clips at the bottom on each side toward the sides of the panel. Use a J-hook tool or a dental pick. Get underneath the panel there and pull outward. Each side should pop right out. The top hooks under the upper panel. Just push inward slightly and down slightly and the top portion will be free. Then reach behind and disconnect the electrical connectors for the lighter and the bulb that lights up the lighter. You are now done.
