4th Generation Ashtray light

My ashtray light is burnt out and I was wondering if anyone knew which bulb type it takes. Thanks a lot!

Most lights inside the interior are 3mm, so maybe 3mm? Not sure with GEN4, GEN3 doesn't have any i think. =[

its an extremely small bulb. I can't tell you what # bulb it is but you can pop off your face trim panel and you'll have access to the light. take it with you when you go to the store.

good stuff feijai85, now i need to find someone in SD to buy some LEDs with me. The cost of shipping is much more than the bulbs.

i have never heard of a local car parts store selling #74 bulbs. your better off getting the led ones instead of the reg halogen. IMO leds are always better.

Might try a Radio Shack or Fry's electronics. Hobby shop might have them as well. I think they use these bulbs on model trains.

My local Car Quest had the #74 bulbs.
They also showed me another type of #74 bulb that might have been the one that would have fit in the cigarette lighter. Instead I was able to get a small enough 12 volt bulb from radio shack and put that on the prongs to make that one work.
