its an extremely small bulb. I can't tell you what # bulb it is but you can pop off your face trim panel and you'll have access to the light. take it with you when you go to the store.

i have never heard of a local car parts store selling #74 bulbs. your better off getting the led ones instead of the reg halogen. IMO leds are always better.

why not just go to AutoZone or Advanced Auto Parts?

i agree with you feijai85. and even if autozone or advance carried them. i wouldnt buy it.
My local Car Quest had the #74 bulbs.
They also showed me another type of #74 bulb that might have been the one that would have fit in the cigarette lighter. Instead I was able to get a small enough 12 volt bulb from radio shack and put that on the prongs to make that one work.
