I spent about 1200 to lay pipe and to put together a turbo( did everything at home). Two sets of injectors( kept trying diiferent one that broke my wallet) and a new turbine wheel and housing cost me another 1100 bucks( didn't want a small turbine that would plug my exhaust and do something bad. . Not including the safc,gauges, new muffler to keep noise down Blitz DD bov( a must), and the need to redo all the piping from the downpipe back.
but I'm getting there.....I am flying.

I was on SG and some cool kat had a camry gen4.5 1mz-fe turbocharged. He said he was making 380 hp@8psi which I think is complete BS. But I'll see when I dyno ( just gotta finish siding this house first, then I can spend money like water again).

gotta go dyno. I just finally got the thing to run good without drowning itself. and I street tuned to somewhere from 11-12:1 a/f its gonna get stapled to 11.9:1 when I get through with it. I try a little to street tune everyday but its damn near impossible to tune using 2nd gear in town. plus it is dumb and dangerous.

so where are going to run your maf?

Oh your talking about injectors? Now I'm running 2jz injectors I got off of camryonsteelies. walboro 255l fuel pump, 300zx 2+2 fuel filter, russel Stainless steel braided lines, Nitress express fuel pressure gauge and other stuff too much stuff!

a turbo off a volvo with a .48 hotside/45 cold is not going to let your exhuast breath at all. you might as well weld the exhaust manifold closed and try WOT. its gonna hurt.

I know. any ideas on what will manage the 1mz? though supercharged guys aren't using anything for timing... I would like to take 14 degrees out of it @7lbs. The ecu is just a complete pain.

greddy emanage / ultimate ... AEM EMS ... Haltech maybe?

Emanage/emanage ultimate would work well. It can control AF ratio and timing. Much better setup than any SAFC/VAFC.

AEM EMS if you want full standalone...much more dyno time required for that though.

If you wanted timing only i think there is the MSD BTM
