Guys, when do i need to replace springs? i don't want lowering ones, just OEM. Which are the sympthoms when springs are old and worn? Suspension is killing me
springs arent something that have a limited life, usually ... especially OEM springs (aftermarket do, but only because they can sometimes be poorly made and begin to sag)
usually what needs replacing is the struts/shocks - and you will know this if your car becomes bouncy over bumps ... a good test is this:
press down on the front end (or rear end) firmly ... hold it down, then quickly release your hands from the car - if it bounces more than once, your shocks are probably getting bad .... ive seen that typical life for OEM/OE shocks are 70k miles, but can vary largely depending on driving style and road conditions

My struts are brand new. they are gabriel ultra. I also replaced cv joints, inner and outer tie rods, ball joints, lower arm bushings and stabilizer bar bushings and my car still bounces and vibrates on every dip in the road. I also tried with another wheels and tires and nothing.
What could it be?
Springs can sag causing the suspension to bottom out. Check the front and rear body to ground clearance (Frt 8.3 inch, Back 10.7 inch with 14 inch tires).
u need to change your springs only if ur car appears to be lowered even though u've never added lowering springs but yea jus check ur gap in ur wheel wells between the top of the tire n bottom of the wheel well

The car is not bottomed at all. so, what can be causing this vibration? can it be a motor mount issue?
motor mounts and suspension are attached to the subframe. If the engine vibrates, this vibration can be transfered to the suspension via the subframe. Am i right?
Well, I don't have an answer, but I'll say this..........
I'd be PISSED if I just changed all of things out and still had a vibration!!! PISSED!!!!!!!!!!!
That's exactly what I *don't* want to happen whenever I chase a problem down like that. (Changing all the correct/logical things that would cause the problem only to have those solutions do nothing to solve it!)
Did you replace the strut mounts when you put the new shocks in?
