3rd Generation SE Differences

Hi!

For the 92/93 SE:

According to Toyota's parts list, here is the difference on the 92/93's SE's stock suspension:

Front:
Only the top mounting plate! (That's weird...) However the steering rack is a whole different part number than the LE & XLE(!!)

Rear:
Different part numbers for the struts, springs, and anti-sway bar than the LE & XLE.

BUT, what do these different part numbers mean? Do these parts lower/stiffen, the ride? How do they improve (and I'm guessing here!) the handling; ride?

Aluminum Alloy rims all around; 205/65VR15 tires
Four wheel discs w/ drum brakes in the rear.

Also there was the trim: Leather steering wheel, hand brake lever and gear shift knob, only fabric seats, rear spoiler (woo-hoo!), external mirrors have "black out trim" (black door handles, too)

V-6 with 5 speed manual transmission

The SE had a performance suspension, lower steering ratio and higher final drive ratio.

also a thicker rear sway bar. the SE coupes had the lower drive ratio from the es300 since they were dammed with the auto. but the 92-93 had a manual. tighter steering and springs completes the performance package.
