Old-Style A/C Refrigerant

I believe the earlier Gen 3's used the old style A/C refrigerant.

I think it would be wise if you converted your AC to use the r134 stuff instead ....

from what i read you basically flush out the R12 and replace it with R134 but you would need new "caps"


R134 is way cheaper than R12

Not to mention getting your hands on the R12 is not simply buying it. I believe you need some kind of certificate to actually purchase it.

R12 is only sold to EPA 609 certificate technicians
