I think other people are having the same problem as I describe below..
Here is my problem...
I went to the dealer got 2 NEW windshield wiper replaced, but when I turn on... the rubber (wiper) rob against the windshield (like robber rob against not smooth sound)...sorry, hard to explain the sound.... I first though the wiper was bad that I bought from the Toyota dealer, but that was not the problem... To make thing sound better, I went got 2 new wipers after market from Advance Auto.. the problem didn't fix the sound... I don't know what best brand that you guys try that doesn't make noise ln the windshield...the old wiper (original) was smooth and no rub noise on the windshield... if rain a lot, I put on High mode...the sound is not there....
What brand of windshield wipers would you recommend or have used to known good and stop the noise and wip the water good off the windshield?
i personally like the piaa silicon blades... but you need to make sure the windshield is clean too. if there's dirt and oil on the windshield, new blades will chatter too, although a little less than old ones.

I had a bit of that problem happening too, they wear in after a while though.
I prefer the Bosch wipers, the kinds that are soft, and stick to your windshield, but I'm usually too cheap, and buy Rain-X ones, which work just fine.

Valeo Ultimate I heard worked nicely. I have used PIAA blades before and honestly don't think they are worth the money.

Walmart has the RAINX Wipers. They are very similar to the original blades. Each blade has 2 pivoting mechanism which help for a clean wipe across the blade. It runs for $10-20 each depending on size.

Rain-X FTW. I've tried the Anco ones and the triple blade silicon and Rain-X are the best by far for my ride. No chatter and smooth. But get new ones every 6 months or so and you should be good to go. Make sure the windshield is clean too cause that will help a lot.
If push comes to shove you can buy some Toyota wipers from the dealer and then buy inserts every time you need a replacement to save a few bucks.

I use Anco blades. I'm thinking about trying the Michelin Radius blades next. You just can't beat paying $10 for a pair of Anco blades at WalMart though!

I use wipers alot especially from road spray in winter.
Micheline Radius wipers sell for 13 CDN each at Costco, and sometimes less with rebate or coupon.
I have used this type for 2.5 years now
I find that these last one winter (put on in fall off in spring) and next change in Spring around March will last till the fall.
