Im wondering if anybody has considered doing it or has done it before...

IIRC, there is a factory Gen 3 lip spoiler available (albeit rare)...unless that's the SE wing you mention.

nah not the factory SE wings

trunk lips like these:

im not looking towards matching the paint of my car.
right now im thinking of either taking it off another car from the junkyard but that would mean having to make it fit perfectly would be a pain in the ass. another idea i had was how some people use garage door lips on their front ends. instead of putting it in the front you turn it upside down and lip your trunk...

the rare lip spoiler is the only one thats been done that looks good and fits well ... the ebay "M3-style" spoilers look dumb on the Gen 3 because its such a large/wide-looking car ... those only really work on the Gen 4

gen 3 lip spoiler:

Here is the M3 spoiler on my gen 3

Notice that i didn't placed them on the top as instructions (when was the last time i ever follow any instruction, lol).

For sure it might not look as good as those coupe above, but at least it fit my budget (shipping only 10 bucks).

Hope that help.

The ebay lip spoilers just look to thin and linear for a car with curves (sexy curves lol). The oem lip spoiler has more substance, and since it was designed to match the Camry's lines, just looks better than any other spoiler available. IMHO, it's an oem lip spoiler or none at all.

the gen 3.5 trunk and gen 3 trunk are the same ... why would you want to switch them?

didnt show up very nice on this picture but this lip spoiler is from a BMW M3. it's a little bit short but it fits the trunk's curve perfectly

You mean the oem lip spoiler? That's a rare part. You might find one in the for sale section, but don't hold your breath.

Here's thread from the FS section of one that was sold not to long ago. Try contacting the OP to see if he got a hold of another one.

FS: Camry OEM Lip spoiler flushmount RARE
