3rd Generation Blast from the past...found my Camry's original "brag book" (Sales literature)

Pics later.

I was cleaning out a shelf of assorted old books and stuff recently and found a nice little treasure: The 1992 Toyota Camry sales literature booklet, a very nice booklet in a large
format (12" square or so) showing the various models of Camry with some very nice
beauty shots. Complete with the original folder.

If we have a library of things like that, tell me where to contribute pics, and I'll make and
crop pics of every page in the booklet for that purpose.

I now have some reference shots to use as a goal for my restoration process. It's nice
to know how it looked when it was brand new.

I couldn't help but think, as I looked through the booklet, that a brand new condition Gen 3
actually looks like it could practically be today's model, though its styling is simpler and
cleaner than that of today's cars. (Personally, I think that's a GOOD thing. )

There's something about the Gen3 design which is pretty nice, even though being over 10 years.

I myself have 3 sales booklets. '83, '86, and '01. I can't scan it without a big fight since it is bigger then my scanner (photoshop and merging is needed for each page)

the gen 3 looks old. The rear tail light thing that streches over the entire rear looks retro so do the separate turn signals. The gen 3.5 looks a lot more modern, except it still has separate turn signals although slightly smaller and better looking. Oh ya plus both have actual antennas, I havent seen any new car with an antenna except the shark fin type.

My scanner is too small but I can get it to a sufficiently large scanner in a couple of days.

I'll try to get that done.
