3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
So we're visiting some friends for the weekend and he's a car nut. Used to drive a nice Altima with some really nice rims on it, AT Italia Luna. I always liked the way they looked. The car was a lease, so when the lease was up he bought a Lexus and the rims didn't fit the character of the car very well, so they've been sitting in his garage. I've talked about buying them from him before, but today we went and looked at them, and they're 17x8 +40. The current tires are too big for my car (255 ) but the rims are perfect! So I looked at them, said I liked them and went online to check wheel/tire sizes and stuff. I'm sitting there and he's like, "So I was going to sell those wheels but I'm tired of having them just lying there, so you can have them if you give me a footrub every time you come to visit" DEAL! lol I don't like feet but for $800 in rims I'm not complaining lol

Question. I think I need 225/45/17 tires. What do you guys like in a budget summer tire? I was looking at the Khumo Ecsta SPT and Fuzion ZRi.

I had Nitto Neo Gen NT in 225/45/ZR17 on my old Scepter and loved them. Great tire for a pretty good price, was like 94 a tire IIRC. It was a hell of a lot cheaper than the tires i'm running on the S2000 that's for sure :p.
