Well... the tranny isn't the huge problem here. The drivetrain is.
MR2's are All Wheel Drive/Mid-Engine Vehicles, so swapping the 3GSTE into a camry would be VERY pricey and 99% custom work.

Are you asking the engine code? A stock camry motor 4 cylinder from 1992-2001 is the 5S-FE.
Most you could make with a 5S-FE would be upwards of 300+ with a manual tranny swap, upgraded internals, and a good sized turbo.
Best Idea would to swap it out for a V-6 what i'm trying to do with my Camry.
