As work on ths Rim's continue.

Thought i'd show you guys my current project.


From this....





I this. (what done so far on that rim. I couldn't use the clear coat remover today because it was so humid the tape would not stick.



after more clear coat remover it'll be polishing and a new clear coat.

you couldve used other solvents to strip it ... aircraft-grade stuff, or various cleaning products

what do you need tape for? if masking, why not use the index card trick....

thats a great idea for the tires.
but i need the tape for the inner parts. my rims are 2 tone. the darker inner parts are still perfect.

oh, i didnt notice the inner sections ... that sounds like its a pain to mask off, hopefully you'll have better weather this week but if Ohio is anything like Tennessee then its going to be hot & humid
