How do I repair the rear defroster lines?

I recently removed the tint off my rear windshield because it was old, purple, and had lots of bubble. I used a heat gun along with a steam cleaner machine but no matter how hot I heated up the class, the tint wouldn't peel off nicely so I had to use a razor blade to scrape everything off. It took forever but I finally got it done. Now the problem is that I think all of the metallic element on the defroster lines peel off with the tint. How do I repair them? Some repair shops I called to just told me to replace the entire rear windshield but I don't think it's worth it. It's not broken or cracked at all.

Thanks for the link. I came across the same website during my google search. It seems like the best option for me right now. I'll order the grid line repair kit and see if the results are good.

Did you check and mark how many breaks you have? the repair material is conductive silver with little resistance, just to bridge the gap in the heating element.
