Tuning advice 3VZ-FE

Hi there,

I read somewhere that the weak points of a 3VZ-FE engine are
- the head gasket
- the head bolts
- the pistons.

Does anyone have suggestions where I could buy extra strong headgaskets,
headbolts with less tolerance than the originals and stronger pistons?

I am based in the Netherlands in Europe by the way....

Thanks in advance for help!

Cheers,
Andreas

So far the 3vz has been proven to 400 horsepower on stock everything including head gaskets. Pretty mch as long as you tune it right the engine will hold, the first thing to go are typically the stock head gakets and an aftermarket set of high quality gaskets with a good install will remedy that. There are also ARP head stud kits available for other v6s that will work on the 3vz. The pistons... well I have yet to see anyone pop any
