BAHHH long time. had to delay my turbo build. ran into some personal issues. i have some cash left. not enough for a complete turbo build. BUT i have enough to build the engine. my question is, im planning to build with oversise 87.5mm pistons so will stock components run normally with this? (ecu? injectors?) just wanna make sure.

Yeah they will work only if you get your entire map redone, because since we are speed density driven cars any alteration to our internals will totally throw off how the car responds, so while you might not need to change injectors you will need some type of turning that will take into note your change in a/f, but sides that you should fine, if you are just running an na setup with bigger piston!!!
Ah...i thought it would mess up the ecu. gotta get it tuned. okay thanks, and im just gonna run n/a for now. building it to turbo. so in stead of me putting a stock engine then pulling it out....blah blah... doing bigger forged pistons with performance rings, forged connecting rods, cometic gasket, full seal redo. MIGHT change head to 3sgte to put the turbo in. Should be pretty ballsy when im done

sorry your right about the bore size, and no you can't put a 3s head on a 5s block, this procedure is very complex for the longest people thought all they had to do was get the head and everything matched up, WRONG!!! While the 3s and the 5s have many things in common, their heads are not interchangeable, due to difference in oil and coolant passages. The serious only way to get a move like this done would be to first have a full 3sgte motor. The next step would be to take the head off and take the pistons and the crank out. After you do it you bore out the cyl. and then drop in the crank and piston set for a 5sfe that is how you get a true 5sgte, its a 3s block bored out to get 5s internals since 5s internals are beefy (crank and connecting rod only) the 5s piston is the 5s's weakiest link!!!!
