door won't open

where the door handle is at on the inside, there is a plastic molding around it, with a screw holding it in. unscrew it and pull the molding off. you'll see little metal rods going to the handle. are they broke? is the door handle itself broke?

What year model Camry is it. The 1990s had a recall for this kind of situation. Some electrical component fried and would not allow the door to open. I believe that it affected the locking mechanism. Does the lock button open & shut? If Scott's suggestion doesn't work you may want to check into this.

I would be surprised if you could kick it out.

Without being able to open the door I believe that you will end up having to rip out or cut the door panel to remove it. There are some screws behind the frame when it is closed.
