4th Generation Gen 4 Factory Spoiler Mounting

I picked up a Gen 4 spoiler from the junkyard for $40 in perfect condition. When I installed my Gen 3 spoiler on my older camry, I was able to order pre-cut double sided tape gaskets from the dealer. It made it super duper easy to install and I didn't have to worry about leaking. Now I need those same gaskets for this spoiler but the two dealers I have called said they can't get it, it only comes with the spoiler? What are people suppose to do when they have to remove their spoiler to repair the trunk lid or some other problem? The tape basically is 3M extreme heavy duty mounting tape. It's a dense grey closed cell foam that is very stretchy and super sticky. We carry it at Menards but only in 1" wide and I don't really want seams. Does anyone know where I could order these gaskets or where I could find this tape wide and I'll just cut it my self?

3M does make it in 'patches'. I bought a 6"x8" a month or so ago and I have seen larger. Just a matter of finding who carries their products, or possibly contact 3M directly.

the tape is used as a sealer and not much more. it can definatly hold the spoiler on for a while but heat, cold, wind resistance, wet, and dry will eventually brake the bond of the tape. ive been there done that. figure out a way to screw it into the trunk or loose it on the freeway one day. doesnt anwser the question but just a friendly warning.

There are two bolts that hold it down. The tape that was on the spoiler was extremely strong as it took my entire body weight to force the putty knife between the spoiler and the trunk lid to separate it. It lasted quite a long time as it was on there since 98'. There is another place I'm gonna try to get a pad, hopefully they have something or I'll have to use the strips. oh well.

Well I called my nearest dealer again to ask about the mounting pads and this friendly employee decided to help me. He called up Toyota and they gave him the part number and sent a picture. The part number is PT47A-32970-TK and it works on Camry factory spoilers 97-01. I can add a picture if anyone needs one. The only bad thing is it costs $55! I tried using 3M molding tape but it just wasn't thick enough at 45 mil. After searching 3M's website, I could not find anything thicker and I definitely couldn't find much on ebay. So I bit the bullet and ordered the pads. In the meantime, I have duct tape covering the holes as I started prematurely and now I have to wait.
