3rd Generation Power Window Fuse

Hi, Guys, after I changed my driver side window regulator, all my 4 power windows stop working.no power at all from all switchs on each door.even power door lock and remote control.but car can be started and driven. I thought it is the P/W fuse. I checked the manual but i can't find where the fuse is. Manual shows it is behind the coin tray, but mine shows all small fues only. no P/W fuse.and all small fuses are good.does anyone have any idea? Thank you.
My car is 92 v6,3vzfe

Go back in to the driverside door and check the wires leading into the master switch for correct power and/or ground. For what it is worth, in my 1995 4cyl Camry the power window fuse is behind the coin box next to the driver's door. It is a 10amp fuse in the middle of the top row. However, it also controls the dash gauges and AC controls. If yours is similar (multi function) then you more than likely have a faulty wire(s) at the door itself.

Hi, Kep,Twix, many thanks for your response.
After long time working,The fuse was found and replaced successfully.
As everyone knows,it's so hard if you never experienced it.Here are some pictures I took, hope it help if you have same problem.

1).chart from repair manual

2).Location- behind the coin pocket

3).After removing the coin pocket

4).Unscrew these 2 screws to remove the small frame which holds the coin pocket.

5).Remove the lower cover of sterling wheel -It is held by 4 10mm bolts and 1 small screw

5-1.2 bolts at bottom.

5-2. other 2 can be seen after opening the small caps

5-3. don't foget this small screw

6).This is what it looks like after the cover removed.Sorry, this picture only shows most part. You still can not see p/w fuse, because it is blocked by a huge black pipe(the black thing on the right upper conner)

7).Remove the huge pipe. This pipe is held by this small plastic clip at the top. This is the secret, it took me 20 min to figure out how to get to the fuse.

8). Now you can see what we are looking for.The little pink one is what I wanted. It is 30A and costs 3 bucks in Advance auto parts

Fascinating. Thanks for the step by step. I wouldn't have expected a second fuse but there it is. That #2 (in the diagram you posted), 10 Amp fuse marked "gauge" blew on me when my AC clutch mal-functioned. When it blew it cut off the dash gauges, the power windows and the AC controls. Who would have thunk it?

Congrats!

1996 P/W doesn't work

Thanks gbaoyn,

By following yours pictorial instructions, I was able to locate the FUSE; however, mine is still good. So, I quess my problem would be either the motor or regulator.
Could you think of other ways that could have caused this problem? I can't low up or down.

Thanks

USA Thanks!

Thanks for the step by step photos. They were invaluable. What were the Toyota engineers thinking when they hid a fuse behind an a/c duct??
