95 camry obd questions

hey i have a 95 camry 2.2 its the California emissions I just have a question about the obd system on my car. It doesn't have obd2 because for the most part they started that in 96, but i have this port that i don't know what its used for. I have the circle port down underneath the dashboard that says diagnostics and i know that's for the dealership and stuff, but i also have this port that looks similar to an obd2 port, but it only has 6 flat pins. i was wondering if anyone could recognize this is and let me know what it is. Thanks

That doesn't look OEM. If you can contact previous owner they may be able to tell you, otherwise maybe trace the wires.

That looks a lot like a PROLOCK interface. I remember a lot of new car dealers installed them on new cars back in the mid-90's.

Take a look at this link. There's not much info avail on PROLOCK anymore.

thanks i took a look at that link you posted and its possible its the prolock system like you said. The previous owner was my grandma and i doubt they would have installed a security ststem on the car, but I guess you never know i'll have to ask them. more likely than not they won't remember anything. if i trace the wires where will they be leading me/what should i be looking for. Last thing if this is a lock thing i've never had the key to it and the car has been normal so whats the point of instaling something if it doesn't do anything? Thanks for your help guys your amaxing
